Shapwick NNR and Shapwick Moor (hawk and owl trust)

A brief visit to the Shapwick bridge (westen) end of the reserve produced a Scarce Chaser dragonfly but quiet on the bird front. At Shapwick Moor I was lucky to see Red-legged Partridge and a female Yellowhammer. In Canada Farm the Southern Marsh Orchids are finally putting in an appearance. Perhaps summer will arrive eventually.
