Another home fixture

What's this man playing at?
Another home fixture, this time against Maybole for the second time, and still no sign of Kilbirnie.
Played Kilsyth twice, Petershill twice, Meadow twice, Rob Roy twice after Saturday and now Maybole.
The fixtures are getting beyond a joke?
Will we be away from home on our midweek fixtures?
Cambuslang and Cumbernauld for example.
I could almost bet on it!!!!

Re: Another home fixture

Rosie if you feel so bitter about it why dont you put your point to the club and ask them to send a letter to the association. It does seem a bit strange that Lugar will have played five teams twice and have yet to meet the second bottom team. I tell you what though looking at the fixture grid Lugar have a fantastic run in. They might even finish in the top five or even fourth.

Re: Re: Another home fixture

Chaps, Chaps,
Mind your tongues, WVM will be accusing you of paranoia next!
What's the weather like over there in good old Scatland?

Re: Re: Re: Another home fixture

How about this for paranioa then?
Kilsyth Rangers (ex central)- top of league-played every other team at least once.
Petershill (ex central)- 2nd in league-played every other team at least once.
Shotts (ex central)- 3rd in league- not liked by officialdom still to meet Maybole and Neilston
Cambuslang (ex central)- 4th in league-played every other team at least once(after todays game against Neilston)
Other teams that have met every other team at least once are- Kirkintilloch Rob Roy and Cumbernauld both ex central
All the ex Ayrshire teams have still to meet at least one team in the league.
Lugar & Kilbirnie have not met
Beith & Saltcoats have not met
Hurlford & Meadow have not met
Maybole still to meet Shotts
Explain that if you can?

Rosie

Re: Another home fixture

CONSPIRACY,he cries, why us,oh no what can the matter be,yes you have guessed it folks, the whole association has it in for us.Why dont u write to the first minister, the queen, tony blair, surely someone will come forward and sort this situation out,its a dammed disgrace i say,its not fair, the motherwell mafia strikes again, why do they do this to us.I for one would be quite willing to put my name to any pertition for the disbandment of the whole league structure if you are going to start one up,and if no one else can see what they are doing they must be blind[he he]

Re: Re: Another home fixture

this league set up was set up by the central league for the interests of the central league.Even an idiot like WVM cant fail to spot the obvious.

Re: Another home fixture

This league was set up to keep the junior game alive,to raise the standard, and bring in sponsorship,if it didnt happen where would the "wee" teams be,i will tell u where, struggling to survive.

Re: Re: Another home fixture

Hello wvm. Does that make it right that most Ayrshire sides have to play another Ayrshire side twice. You were given simple truthful facts by Rosie but you have failed to pick out the significance. Instead you harp on about your same old argument. Please try to answer why this has come about. Or is only a coincidence that four of these teams are fighting to avoid relegation. Rosie has raised a genuine point please answer it.

Re: Re: Re: Another home fixture

David,
WVM has proved time and again that he's incapable of debate on these issues, preferring to to play the paranoia card. There isn't even much of an argument about how the new set up has worked out for the better, just some basic and blatant faults such as this one that need to be answered and ironed out.
It will be interesting to see if the same scenario happens next season, then WVM will have to put his paranoia cards away for good.

Re: Another home fixture

I dont think that the two of you have understood any of the postings above. The paranoia has not come from my postings, but from rosie. It is quite clear,as i have said on other postings that he has a huge chip on his shoulder. He has never been in favour of this new league set up,its here to stay, get on with it,he will never be happy. Was it any better in "ye olden days", i dont think so.-What have we got, a talbot/lugar supporter [he doesnt know],an ex pat who left the country because lugar were going thro a bad run of form, and a paranoid rosie bush.

Re: Re: Another home fixture

You still fail to answer the point. Why have these
Ayrshire teams still to play each other twice? Have a close look at the league and you will see why these games have been left until the end of the season. Forget the so called paranoia. There is a real issue here and everyone except yourself can see what its about. Wakey Wakey oh blinkered one.

Re: Another home fixture

I for once will agree with you,the point is clear to see, certain people will never be happy, this topic has went on for two seasons that i know of,i can not give u an explanation to certain league programs over a season, these are dictated by other games, put yourself in the position of the match secretary, easy position or not,i think not.
