Since beginning this report I have learned so much about the Montford Point Marines. I am happy to see that they are finally receiving recognition for their contributions to America. During these days when \"patriotism\" is freely tossed about with reckless abandon these men displayed true patriotism by fighting a war on two fronts; overseas and at home.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.......this site has been an eye opener to me being a former Marine. I served from '83-86 and never heard about the Montford Point Marines. Though my years of service were nothing in comparison to the men mentioned in this site I feel like I fell short in my time in service......but I thank God for you and this site. Semper Fi!!!!!

Googled after hearing Dr. Archibald Moseley speak of his experiences as a MPM.

This is a very rich and valuable story of American history. No child in America since the 1940's should have been deprived of this story of segration, discrimination, reconciliation. I only learned it through Black History presentations and even then, only because I live in a community where a Montford Point also lives. It is a tragedy for all that American history has been so sanitized.
