Anche Billie Eilish e Miley Cyrus trionfano in una serata dominata dalle donne

I Grammy 2024 hanno visto la vittoria di nomi come Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish e Miley Cyrus. Ma anche un arresto!
La 66a edizione dei Grammy Awards, i premi assegnati dall'associazione della discografia americana, si sono svolti nella serata del 4 febbraio a Los Angeles, condotti per il quarto anno consecutivo dal comico e presentatore Trevor Noah. La cerimonia è stata contraddistinta da un dominio femminile non indifferente. A partire da Taylor Swift che, vincendo con il suo album Midnight, ha raggiunto il numero record di quattro premi per l'album dell'anno (prima di lei, leggende come Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder e Paul Simon si erano fermati a tre). Swift ha appro*****to dei Grammy per annunciare l'arrivo di un suo nuovo lavoro,** The Tortured Poets Department**, in uscita ad aprile.

Tra le altre premiate Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, ma anche la cantante country Lainey Wilson e la popstar colombiana Karol G. Lo show è stato poi animato delle performance di SZA, la stessa Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo e veterane come Joni Mitchell e Tracy Chapman. Nel segmento In Memoriam sono stati ricordati Tina Turner, Sinead O'Connor e Tony Bennett. Ricevendo un premio speciale alla memoria di Dr. Dre, Jay-Z non ha perso occasione per criticare gli stessi Grammy per aver parecchie volte snobbato gli artisti neri, facendo riferimento anche all'ultimo disco della moglie Beyoncé, Renaissance, praticamente ignorato da questi premi. E, infine, un colpo di scena eclatante: dopo aver vinto tre statuette, il rapper Killer Mike è stato arrestato proprio all'arena in cui si svolgeva la cerimonia, a quanto pare per aggressione.
