È Bruno Mars la star dei Grammy Awards 2018 che si è tenuta presso il Madison Square Garden di New York. Con sei Grammy Mars è il vincitore assoluto della sessantesima edizione: Album of the Year a “24K Magic”, che si aggiudica anche il premio Record of the Year, Best Song of the Year a “That’s What I Like” (che lascia a bocca asciutta Luis Fonsi e la sua "Despacito"). Ma anche Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song e Best R&B Album.

Al secondo posto nella classifica di premi c’è Kendrick Lamar, favorito della serata, che si è portato a casa cinque statuette: tre in categorie minori e due per Best Rap Album e Best Rap/Sung Performance (condivisa con Rihanna).

Due premi anche a Ed Sheeran, uno nelle categorie minori e l’altro per la Best Pop Solo Performance. Niente statuette per Jay-Z, che si è visto sfilare anche il Best Rap Album da “D amn” di Kendrick Lamar. Best Traditional R&B Performance a Childish Gambino.

I Grammy Awards incoronano anche una svizzera: è la violinista svizzera di origine moldava Patricia Kopatchinskaja. Il premio della categoria Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance è stato annunciato sul sito del concorso alcune ore prima della serata.
