The local stores for the cigarettes and Sunday papers,
but all we ever buy is apples and cheap Spanish wine.
And as we queue to pay our money, it may sound funny
and it's so good to feel you near me with your hand in mine.

Our weekends at the beach
and plenty of time to pack a toothbrush.
We go there for the sun in summer or we'll stay in bed.
Pillow fights beneath the covers, friends and lovers.
Two companions playing shadow-games above their heads.

Slowly wandering in the streets
and houses over home town.
