I have a 2003 ulysse 2.0 prestigio. The temperature guage (digital) keeps going from 2 bars to full bars and a message appears on the screen saying engine overehaeting. The engine is not overheating and the message disappears after 10 minutes driving.
I suspect its the coolant sensor but have no idea where it is or how to change it. Does it screw in somewhere? are some of them pressed in? if so how do you get them in/out. Your help is greatly appreciated. Cheers Jed
Hi Jed. At a guess I'd say your spot on that it's the temp sensor. I'm not sure about the Uly but on some Fiats it's screwed into the housing for the thermostat. Check around there for starters. It's a 17 or 19mm, can't remember which one though.
