I had a new Alfa Spider for the day.

Since the weather was so good and also it was our clubs meeting night, the main Fiat/Alfa dealer lent me this one. I thought the Brera was a beautiful car. The Spider is even tastier, I'm in love. It actually feels a little harder on it's suspension and corners a bit flatter than the Brera. Inside it is pure Brera which is no bad thing as it's a lovely place to be. This car has the 2.2 petrol engine which isn't just as quick as the 2.4 diesel but a great engine just the same.
I'm not big on electric roofs so I don't know if they all opereate the same but if I had one niggle it's that you have to hold the button down until the roof goes right down and up. Mind you it would be down as much as possible. There's little wind buffeting with the roof down and it seals brilliantly when the roof up with no wind noise coming in. I liked this car an awful lot. The perfect one would be a 2.4 diesl in racing red
