I remember the PowWow drive-in, located on 169th St.,just west of Kennedy Ave. It had the biggest hamburgers in the area, for only 25 cents. We would cruise from the Fat Boy to Pow-Wow and then over to Candy's Pizza, which was a Morton student hang-out.
Thanks for tripping my memory about Pow-Wow, Ray. Lots of good times there.

DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE POW-WOW RESTURANT ON 169TH STREET IN HESSVILLE. I'M TRYING TO FIOND A PICTURE OF THE RESTURANT.
There's a bunch of us at the www.FlickLives.com discussion group that exchange photos; but none of us so far has a photo of the Pow-Wow. I remember it (around 1965) as a white wooden building with lots of windows. According to the phone book, a KFC now stands there.
