I recently found a Kitty Hawk ring in a UK antique store. After doing some research and realising what it signifies. I am attempting to find it's owner/ owners family to see if they would like it returned.
American Eagle International style J ring, silver in colour and has an aircraft carrier on one side and an anchor, USN, tradition, valour and victory on the other side. The stone is oval, blue, smooth, transparent with what looks like a lightning bolt logo under it.
There is an inscription on the inside of the ring but unfortunately someone has had a very good go at scratching it out, although some letters can be made out.
I have contacted American Eagle International in the hope of discovery who it belongs / belonged too but so far have been unsuccessful.
