I really don't have a lot of information to go on but I am just seeing if anyone may have remembered my dad. From what I have heard from family members he served in the early 70's. His name was Lyman Harris. Please forgive my ignorance in not knowing proper terms and lingo. He worked on deck refueling the aircraft? I have heard that he was injured when there was a collision with a supply ship and he was only able to carry out 18 months of his career with the Navy and was medically released from what he had hoped would have been a lifetime career. He has since passed in 2004. I'm just wanting to know more about my dad. Thank you, Sarah B.
