Yes, and if you are like many in that time frame your DD 214 and mine, didn't show entitlement to the Vietnam Service medal. Write to the Navy records center and ask that you be issued a DD 215(it is an amended DD 214)To make things easier for our Navy,send along a copy of your DD 214. That should do it. It did for me.
