It was sad to hear that she had to be decommissioned, out of all the ships I have served on during my career in the US Navy, she was the finest ship in the fleet, I would consider it a privilege to served her. I will fond memories from my time on board, I can still remember getting lost on the week reported there as if was yesterday.

I remember getting lost my first time too. Staring in awe as I stood with the mooring crew fresh out of indoc.
I walked up to the enlisted deck then tried to check into medical. Had to ask several shipmates, and kicked the crap out of a few port holes not used to high stepping threw the compartments.
