YES.The three most impressive man made things that I have seen in my lifetime:
1. The H bomb in space over the Johnson Islands
2. Shuttle launches viewed from my back yard
and
3. The green flag at Talladaga Speedway. That was the last NON restrictor plate race with the pack starting lap one "bumper to bumper" at over 220 MPH with Bill Elliot leading the pack.
I was also on the flight deck,probably would remember seeing some of you then. This I can't recall: was the water wash down system tested after the blast. I thought that was one of the reasons for going there during the blast. Ron
