Hello, my dad is Gary Van Auken (Sherman CAW-11) who served from Dec 1972 until 1976 on the Kitty Hawk. He is turning 60 years old this October. I was on board the Hawk from 73 77 except for 75 went to Diego Garcia for that year.I was in V-1 div in 76 I just want to tell Gary Auken Happy Birthday I worked cat-1 so I am sure we work side by side. Wished we could do it again . any way Happy Birthday.
