When I was a boy, in the 1970s, I wore a POW bracelet with the name of Lt.Cmmdr. David W. Hoffman. I never took it off for any reason, until all POWs were reported home. ( I watched TV for hours waiting for a glimpse, but I missed seeing Capt. Hoffman).
I would be proud and very happy to present Capt. Hoffman with my bracelet if he would accept it.
I don't want to be too aggressive in my attempts to make contact, I respect his privacy and understand if he doesn't want this memento.
