My father in-law served on the USS KItty Hawk from March 16th 1969 to Aug. 7 1969 his name was Ronald Stimac. He was on the ship when it did a tour in Vietnam. My question is how would i get any pictures of him while he served on the USS Kitty Hawk? He has passed away in 2011 and we have his medals and paper work but no pictures if anyone can help please let me know it would mean alot to his family. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
You might find a cruise book from that period. If you know what division he was in you could check out the picture of that division and he might be in it. Check navysite.de they have a link to cruise books. There is a cruise book on there for West Pac 1968 - 1969. I hope this can help you some.
There is Kitty Hawk vets page on Face book you could try there maybe someone knew your father in law or could help you more.
