Hey Jim, I was on board from pre com in summer of 60 till summer of 64. Was an electrician and worked in the Power Shop by #2 emergency diesel. Thwere was an R Div shop beside us and it might have been the pipe shop. Other side of us was Mach shop. Anyway I now live in Knightdale, NC.

I was there but do not remember a lot. I was on several ships and The Randolph was one of them. I was on the commissioning crew for the Kitty Hawk and went around the Horn on her. What a trip. I was in Fox div.

My husband, Smith (Bob) Baker was part of the commissioning crew and was in V-4 division. He left the USS Kitty Hawk in 1963. He is a "plank owner" but I notice that he is not listed as such on the web site. Do you have to be a member of the association to be listed as a plank owner? Shouldn't be that way.
