Hello I am the sister to Danny Groves who served aboard the US Kitty Hawk. 1999-2003 We lost him in a tragic work explosion in 2005. I am searching for any one that was close to him while he served. He entered the U.S. Navy on Oct. 19, 1999. He served aboard the USS Kitty Hawk as a Welder/Fireman and pyrotechnics specialist. Which is ironic because he worked for a firework company when he was loading the forworks from one trailer to another when a box exploded. Danny and another young man was trapped inside with no way out. The boy that sat the box down died 2 days later. THank you for your time, Hope I hear from someone.
