Yes I was on at the tail end of that time frame. I came onboard Jan.77 finishing up our overhaul at Bremerton. We lived on the APL until our our berthing was ready and I was TAD to the mess decks. I was on that cruise also as Kuhn. I remember being TAD to the APL. It was Richard Head. He always said when he introduced his self, I Richard Head..You can call me dick Ect. I remember playing poker with him and other, not their names though. He was a good leader.
