There will be a work party this Sunday 2nd, 9am start, there are plenty of jobs to be done before 1st meeting on the 9th,
Please Note! No Volunteers = No Racing on the 9th.
Following our committee meeting last night we have compiled a "To Do List". There are lots of jobs but with lots of help we will get them all done on Sunday so we're all ready to go racing on the 9th.
We will have a Teleporter loading shovel, Moffit fork lift, pressure washer, Transit flat bed and various hand tools on site to make life easier but we could also do with extra hammers, pliers, cutters, hacksaws etc.
The list is too long to put up here but it's all "doable" if we crack on!
A massive thank you to the 40 plus people who turned up today to prepare the site for this season. From the 7 year olds to the 70 year olds, everyone played their part, we are now ready for our first meeting on the 9th April.
Special praise to Frank Driver who has worked tirelessly from Thursday, pressure washing toilets, grading the track and overseeing everything when the Moffett was needed.
Weather permitting on the 9th, we plan to have Junior practice and some opens before the start of the meeting to let you all get familiarised after the winter blues!
Gareth Lowden, our new chief marshal, will be judging the Best Turned Out saloon, special and Junior car which we're sure will be a difficult task having seen some of the photos of this years machinery!
