All competitors going to the 2015 nationals must remember that you cannot go through scrutineering unless you have a roll cage tag fitted.
There will be no tagging at the nationals, other than substitutes, last minute reserves and recently failed cars that have been rectified.
Please make sure, prior to scrutineering that your car is in a ready to race condition, you have been through qualifying races at club and league level, so it should be.
Data collected from scrutineering on car condition, safety and eligibility for its class will be processed and taken back to the clubs and leagues, please represent your club/league well, and ultimately help to improve scrutineering.
Scrutineers will be paying special attention to safety, seat and seat fitment, seat belts and fitment, head clearance, arm restraints and window nets, and throttle and brake operation.
The normal noise testing will be in operation along with brake and steering tests.
Classes 8, 9 and 10 may be asked to go through scrutineering without bonnets, to make inspection quicker and easier.
Drivers may also be asked to exit the vehicle for safety checks.
Many thanks in advance for your cooperation, and have a good weekend.
