Scrutineering reminders

Just a reminder to all drivers that 25mm box roll cage will no longer be allowed in saloon classes from January 2015.

The minimum permitted sizes are either 32mm (1.25") tube with a minimum wall thickness of 2.5mm or 30mm x 30mm box section with a minimum wall thickness of 3.0mm. An inspection hole in all the elements of the roll cage is still required.

The floor bars, sill bars and door bars must also comply with this new rule. The seat support bar (bar behind the seat back) must be made from roll cage specification material.

Suspension cradles, attaching frames, seat frames, cross bars in flat floor construction and any other attachment frames may still be constructed from 25mm x 25mm (1") box section.

If you have questions or queries contact me on 07766523166.
