NASA have issued a very important message regarding throttle return springs. ALL cars MUST comply with this directive as from NOW!

"All engines must be fitted with a throttle return spring of sufficient size, strength and movement such that the fuel delivery system closes once the throttle pedal is released.
The throttle cable must be sufficiently routed, shielded from any heat source and lubricated to minimise the risk of seizure".
