A flock of 59 cranes flew quite low over Witcombe Bottom this afternoon flying west around 3.00pm. Wonderful sight!!
59 cranes were feeding in stubble fields at Whitcombe Bottom again today. Also 3 Bewick's swans (2 Ad and 1 juv) were among 50+ mute swans here.
Can anyone please advise where it is best to view from to see the Cranes here ? Would it be the river from Long Load ? I shall be with a group in a minibus. Many thanks.
