Four Short-eared Owls on Thursday and one yesterday, Friday, hunting in fields between the Langport end of Aller and the river. Also a Barn Owl on the recreation field near the church.

One short-eared owl at dusk today, plus an over-flying female hen harrier. Villagers in Aller tell me that up to four SEOs have been there everyday for a fortnight.
