Steart Marshes - 4 November 2015 (late morning and early afternoon)
1 Merlin - juvenile perched out on the marshes for 30 minutes before flying off. Later seen flying quite high Eastwards over the marshes, turned back and disappeared towards Steart village.
2 Peregrine - adult pair perched close together on a pylon. Other sightings of the same individuals in flight including the adult female bombing the Spoonbill in flight and forcing it inelegantly to the ground. Apparently more a display of aerial supremacy than a hunting flight.
