Quiet morning at the Point. A flock of c. 30 Redwings flew across in front of the Tower Hide, landed briefly in the bushes opposite, and then flew NE towards the Point climbing as they headed towards Burnham.

Saw my first of the winter yesterday at Midelney, Drayton. About 20 followed soon after by a small flock of Mistle Thrushes.

Fieldfares and Redwings at Shapwick this morning, also Muchelney this afternoon. This easterly blast has certainly moved migration fast forwards!
