A pleasant early morning at Westhay Moor before work. Nothing unusual to report but amongst blue skies a flock of 20 Greylag flew through, along with small numbers of:
Skylark
Siskin
Goldfinch
Meadow pipit
Whilst there was still plenty of Chiffchaffs around, Cetti's warbler and Water rail appeared to call from every corner and a few Reed bunting skulked in the reeds.
Great white egret made several passes and a kestrel burst out from the long grass by the hide whilst walking through.
