There was a lovely sight this evening, in teeming rain, in the large field that runs adjacent to Cinnamon Lane - opposite the park.
About 200 Swallows, House Martins and several Sand Martins, flying for fun and feeding, for a good half an hour as it tipped it down. They didn’t mind it one bit as they zipped about.
