Ibis seen at midday dropping into pools to the west of path leading to new hide. After a few minutes lifted and flew east to the open water area to the left of VP2. Was not spotted again until it took off again and headed a short distance west behind the trees. After some diligent searching by a fellow bird photographer it was located in a small bay some 25 yards from the path running along the north bank of the South Drain between VP2 and the new bridge. Excellent views were obtained by the 6 people there.
