Starlings for supper!

I called in to the new RSPB car park at Ham Wall around 2100 this Sat. eve in the hope of catching sight of a Night Heron flyover, no such luck! I parked under the H.V line that crosses the park and had close up views of a large Starling gathering both on the wires and the adjacent field. Unluckily for the Starlings a male Peregrine arrived and took one flying off S.E. In the ensuing panic another Starling was taken by an adult Crow. It was immediately joined by 2 juveniles and a second adult, they consumed it there and then on the ground.
