Westhay Reserve

A quiet wander around the London Drove side of the Westhay Reserve last evening produced singing Reed and Sedge Warblers, a booming Bittern and a few flyover Swallows. The highlight for me were the first of this years young birds, two broods of Greylag Geese a six and a five on 10 Acre lake just as the sun set.

Re: Westhay Reserve

A walk this afternoon produced at least 18 singing Willow Warbler, & half a dozen each of Chiff Chaff, Blackcap & Reed Warbler . Just a few Swallows in Mark & Meare and my first House Martin back at Burtle when I got home.
