Garganey - Ham Wall

There was a drake Garganey out in front of the 2nd viewing platform at Ham Wall today - still present when I left there at 16:00 hrs. Also a singing Willow Warbler along the main track between the two platforms.

Drake Garganey at the back of Meare Heath scrape this morning, no sign of any waders though.

1 Redshank Flew In And Also 1 Black-Tailed Godwit.

Fly Overs Of Swallows Sand Martins & 1 Fieldfare.

Drake Garganey this am at Ham Wall in first part of Walton Heath (at same time as Meare Heath bird, which I saw late am). Also Swallow and House Martin through, and a couple of very obliging Cetti's Warblers doing their April thing of forgetting they're supposed to be skulkers.

3 Drake Garganey on Meare Heath lagoon this morning, also 2 Redshank, 2 Black-tailed Godwit.

Just one male Garganey visible at Meare Heath this morning plus 2 Redshank and one Blackwit. Also 2 Bearded Tits on 70 acres.
