Ring-necked Duck - Wimbleball Lake

A drake Ring-necked Duck in the small bay just south of Bessom Bridge at Wimbleball Lake this morning. Presumably it is the Clatworthy bird relocating although the grey flanks look darker but it could just have been the light. A total of four Goldeneye and low numbers of other species as there have been all winter here.

Still present this morning near the hide and was flushed by what looked to be the only fishing boat out on the lake. Last seen flying off in the direction of Cow Moor Bay which is opposite the yacht club.
