A walk from Hinton Blewitt down to Litton Reservoir and return across open fields to Hinton produced the following:
Pair of ravens being harassed by Crows.
6 Buzzards, one tucking its wings in and dive bombing.
A singing Chiffchaff.
Grey and Pied Wagtails, one of each.
At least 3 Little Grebes.
Pair of Great Crested Grebes.
One Little Egret.
One singing lark.
Calling Yellow Hammers.
One Brimstone butterfly.
One Queen White Tailed Bumble Bee.
Back home in my garden at Bath, a Blackcap seen and heard singing.
A later walk in the sunshine taking in the River Avon nr Bath produced:
Brimstone, Red Admiral and Small Tortoiseshell butterflies.
