Re: Clatworthy Reservoir

The Ring-necked Duck still present in the SW arm of Clatworthy Reservoir this morning at ST033307. It is not visible from the approach road, if you want to see it you will need to walk around the southern end to view this arm of the reservoir.
Still several Brambling along Brown Lane with large flocks of Chaffinch.

Re: Clatworthy Reservoir

And still there this late morning. A 20 min walk from the entrance gate near the car park, and stiff (for me) uphill return walk.

Re: Clatworthy Reservoir

In place this morning around 11am.

Showed well in open water in the Southern arm of the reservoir then moved under the far bank diving frequently.

Well worth a walk through lying and falling snow.

Re: Clatworthy Reservoir

Still present mid afternoon with male tufted duck in south west arm again.
