Wet Moor this morning and probably the most interesting of my weekly visits of this winter to date; female Merlin (my first here this winter but I do know of a male that has been seen by two other observers), female Peregrine, 6 Buzzards, 30 Dunlin and 15 Cranes. No returning Curlew as of yet though.

Any specifics on where the cranes are would be appreciated, my parents are up for the weekend and are keen to see them

Wet Moor is a difficult Moor to view without a lot of muddy walking.
