Re: Snow Bunting Dunster Beach

No sign of any snow buntings this morning but female back redstart on and around groynes opposite chalets at car park end showing well for a while. The one that has been showing around the chalets at the other end was a male. The 'new' bird may have been seen on Thursday by a non-birder (my wife).

Also, amongst large numbers of waders one knot, seen associating with 8 grey plovers at times. Finally, 3 chifchaffs by the Avill outfall.

Re: Snow Bunting Dunster Beach

Just for the record, neither bird is that new - both birds have been present since at least December 14th (or presumably the same birds): the male favours the area between the shop and the laundry (including in the trees on the Hawn side) and the female hangs around the car park end of the chalets, having also been seen on the beach
