Kay and me spent some time just prior to dusk yesterday (Tuesday) scanning the eastern edge of Aller Moor from Aller Moor Drove, but still no Barn Owl sighting for this year. However, a Merlin which flew fast across the fields to perch in a tall tree was more than enough compensation.
