Just before dawn a Barn Owl flew over the car as I was driving through Pedwell. Also recently I have seen a Barn Owl (1) crossing the A358 at the Thornfalcon traffic lights (2) at Steart Marshes, 2nd car park (3) at Oath Sadly no sign at Curry Rivael or nearby Wick. January always seems to be my best month for seeing these wonderful birds. Robin.

A rare daytime (11:00 am) flight of a Barn Owl over Somerton two days ago possibly caused by disturbance shooting in the vicinity of its roost and then high winds pushing the bird over the town.
