Large flock of c.600 Golden Plover on King's Sedge Moor this morning, in wet fields to the east of the A361 between Kings Sedgemoor Drain and Blind Man's Gate Sluices. Also 2 juv Marsh Harriers nearby, off First Sedgemoor Drove.

Also a large flock of Lapwing and GPs on Saturday in fields next to the A303 near the A36 roundabout near Yeovil.

The large flock of c.600 Golden Plover still present at same location on King's Sedge Moor this morning; also 101 Dunlin with them, but no sign of any hoped for Ruff!

Large flock of Golden Plover, now c.800, on King's Sedge Moor this morning, in wet fields alongside the A361 on the stretch between Kings Sedgemoor Drain and Blind Man's Gate Sluices.
