Brilliant view of a Kingfisher at Wells moat today. Perched on a small tree busily fishing. Went to Costa had a hot chocolate (very nice) and went back to the moat. He was still there!

Caught another fish before zipping off towards Morrisons.

Real shame I didnt have a camera to hand. Seemed very tolerant though and would no doubt pose for photos.

Also a Kestrel and Sparrowhawk on the way back to Wookey Hole.

Juust returned from the daily jaunt to Wells post office and a Walk around the moat . Kingfisher sitting on the chains at entrance to the palace. Then flew to plants on wall whhere it began fishing . Also grey wagtail and wren.
