Five adult Bewick's Swans on Sutton Moor late afternoon, with a small herd of Mute Swans. Look SE from Nythe Bridge on the minor road from Pedwell to High Ham.

3 adult Bewick's still present today, per Twitter.

Only 1 Bewicks this morning although part of the group were obscured. Also 2 Roe Deer feeding on the edge of the field.

Three Bewick's at 11.30 this morning

But (all?) 4 at 10.00h!

...and all 5 present at 15:00 this afternoon! (5th Jan)

One at 10.00h and Two at 12.00h today, the others must be close at hand somewhere?

Perhaps the title of these postings should read 'Disappearing Bewicks'?

Only one definitely visible at 3.50 this afternoon. However, the light was fading, and some birds were sat with heads down, so there may have been more.
