07.30 To 13.00 Hours.

3 Juvenile Marsh Harriers (including the green wing tagged bird.1 Juvenile caught a Meadow Pipit), 1 Kestrel, 1 Adult Male Peregrine, 1 Female Sparrow Hawk, 7 Common Buzzards, c100 Lapwing, c40 Black-Tailed Godwits, c10 Common Snipe, 1 Great White Egret, 1 Little Egret, 2 Ravens, 3 Chiffchaff feeding in front of hide, 1 Redwing, 2 Stock Dove & 1 Reed Bunting.

The Lows were 90% frozen over today duck nos are down to 300'ish still good nos. of Pintail Wigeon and Teal but only a few Shoveller present. 15 Blk Wits plus some very mobile Snipe. Only 2 Marsh Harriers passes (Green tagged bird plus another juv). A male Merlin mid morning and a male Kestrel, a large brown Sparrow Hawk with half a dozen Buzzards made up the raptors seen in 3 hrs. Lots of Meadow Pipits and at least 6 Stonechrts were much in evidence plus Chiffchaff feeding close to hide and seeming to find a lot to eat!
