07.15 To 16.00 Hours

1 Female & 1 Juvenile Marsh Harrier, 2 Kestrels, c5 Common Buzzards, 1 Male & 1 Female Sparrow Hawk, 2 Great White Egrets, c5 Common Snipe, 5 Little Egrets, c200 Lapwing, c20 Black-Tailed Godwits, 2 Ravens, 4 Stonechats, 1 Reed Bunting and c100 'Winter Thrushes'.

4 Juv type Marsh Harriers in the air together late morning this included a green wing tagged bird (presumably L1) Post lunch a smart adult male Marsh turned up and did a couple of circuits of the reserve. 17 Blk Wits and at times 2-3000 Lapwing were overhead. Other raptors were Buzzard, Sparrow Hawknd ople of vi of Peregrine that interacted with two of the Harriers! Good nos of Pintail Shovelleer, Wigeon and Teal. Water level is just a tad high now preventing lots of Lapwing from landing!
