Unseasonal elements of my regular walk over the moor this morning: A calling Tawny Owl, at least 3 clouded yellows and a late Northern Wheatear (scroll down to the bottom). The late date and the wheatear's rather horizontal stance gave me cause to pause for a closer look but it wasn't a Desert Wheatear.

There was also a Peregrine stooping at unsuccessfully at pigeons. Little else of note.
