A single Puffin flew West past Hurlstone Point this morning with the first returning Auks of the winter other birds of note were Med Gull,2 PB Brent Geese,3 Gannet a distant flock of Ca 50 small wader species,5 Swallow and as last week a steady passage of Passerines from Wales
Other parts of Exmoor included 300+ Golden Plover around Aldermans Barrow and it looks like the flock of Ring Ouzels down Chetsford Combe may have moved on as i only located 1 Male bird
