Re: Stonechats

7 Stonechats together around 4.30pm on Queen Sedge Moor today. I managed to take a photo record shot with 4 in the Frame. They were at the Launcherley end of the long drove road about 150 yards from the junction. Very obliging.

At least half a dozen Swallows present

Re: Stonechats

2 Stonechats and 2 Kestrels present this afternoon around 2.15pm; I've still not seen a Fieldfare yet this Autumn.

Re: Stonechats

Four Stonechats on Curry Moor this morning, however no Redwings or Fiedfares

Re: Stonechats

Four Stonechats (2 males) on Tealham Moor yesterday (25th), where the highlight was a magical little Merlin perched in the top of a roadside hawthorn.

A photo of the Merlin (difficult to get) on my website soon.
