Among the expected waders on a partially flooded Fenning over high tide:
133 Black-tailed Godwits, 3 Bar-tailed Godwits, a Greenshank and a winter
plumaged Golden Plover. Over the course of 2 hours, a total of 13 Common
Terns flew out of the Parrett mouth and off down-channel,mostly during the
heavy rain showers, while a further bird was roosting among the BH Gulls
on Fenning.
